Stipulative Definition: Information-Processing System
Every interacting system is an information-processing system.
For:
In interacting with other systems, its structure is modulated by the structures of those systems with which it interacts.
This modulated structure constitutes a new ontological input within the system and thereby new ontological information for further system-internal interaction processes.
Since, in our world, everything (= every being) continuously interacts, every interacting system continuously processes ontological information.
